presidency of Agence de l'Eau Seine Normandie!

by Martin Pigeon, Corporate Europe Observatory (CEO), 3/10/11
Anne Le Strat, the head of Paris' municipal water company and the Green politician who played such a pivotal role in Paris waters remunicipalisation, has just been elected at the head of the "Agence de l'Eu Seine Normandie". It may sound anecdotal, it is not: The "Agences de l'eau" in France are kind of basin-based water administrations with a participatory Board that collect very large amounts of (tax) money for water infrastructure renewal, resource protection... Enthusiastic reactions after the broadcast of "Water Makes Money"

Thank you very much to show the film Water Makes Money. Well in Germany we´ll only get to see 99 % of uncriticial films. The movie was amazing, based on facts, with good examples. Even a complaint from Veolia & Suez didn´t stop you. That's fantastic. Please be critical in the future, too. Keep up the good work. I wish more TV companies have the courage as you did. The freedom of the press is so important. I hope you can show more critical films like that.
